Docker build-context inspector

Paste a Dockerfile and a list of repository files to see which COPY and ADD sources are available to the build.

Availability is based only on the supplied inventory and supported syntax. This does not run a build, inspect file contents or verify image availability, permissions or runtime behavior.

These tools run entirely in your browser. Nothing you paste or drop is uploaded, stored, or sent to analytics.

Try a sample:

One repository-relative path per line, with forward slashes. A trailing / marks a directory; path -> target marks a symlink. Maximum 5000 entries, including inferred directories. See the guide for a file-list command.

Bex build settings

Repository-relative service root. Empty means repository root.

Repository-relative context. Empty inherits rootDir; . explicitly selects the repository root.

Relative to rootDir, even when dockerContext differs. Empty means Dockerfile.

Limits: 256 KiB Dockerfile, 512 KiB inventory, 64 KiB and 1,000 rules per ignore file. Matching work is bounded; oversized checks are refused. Ctrl/Cmd+Enter checks the Dockerfile immediately.

Load a sample or paste a Dockerfile and file inventory to begin.
