The macOS installer now opens as **Bex** and contains only **Bex.app** and the **Applications** shortcut. The legacy Zed.app link is removed. Packaging now mounts and checks each DMG before continuing, verifying the volume name, exact root contents, application identity, executable architecture, icon presence, and application signature. Bex 1.20.0-bex.5 can update to this release. Older .4 installations need to install this release manually because their updater expects the previous Zed volume layout. This release addresses installer branding. The HTML extension download error and telemetry HTTP 404 observed during local smoke testing are not addressed by this change. Release Notes: - Fixed remaining Zed branding in macOS installer volumes and removed the extra Zed shortcut.
